I sometimes slip into sadness,
A fleeting cloud that passes by
No reason, just life’s ebbs and flows,
A moment to wonder why.
But then I find my footing,
A purpose that shines so bright
My work, a passion that ignites,
A reason to live with all my might.
The kids of Aashiyan, a bundle of joy,
They have a ray of hope in their eyes
They make me believe in myself,
That I can rise above the skies.
Their laughter, their smiles,
A reminder that I’m not alone
With every hurdle, I find a way,
To turn it into a stepping stone.
An inner voice whispers,
“You can’t give up, not now”
My parents’ prayers echo,
“You have so much to give, somehow”.
I may feel like I’m not enough,
Like my abilities are few
But so much kindness surrounds me,
And love that’s honestly true.
The universe gives me reasons to rise,
To smile, to love, in every season
A new dawn, a fresh start,
A chance to rewrite my story’s reason.
I take a step forward,
With faith and with might
I know that I’ll emerge stronger,
Shining with delight.
With every step, I find my voice,
My heart, my soul
I’m a work in progress,
A masterpiece, unfolding whole.
I’m not just surviving,
I’m flourishing, I’m alive
I’m a blessed woman,
Loved, cherished, and thus I thrive.
