They say, “You find true love at unexpected times!”
An irate Nyna entered the coffee shop. Kabir followed her, he was late again. Nyna gulped down three coffees already and then waited outside!
As usual, he was busy playing games on his phone and failed to keep up with time. This was not the first time, he did the same quite often. Nyna kept tolerating it in name of love, but then today, he said something that triggered Nyna. “I know you won’t leave me. Who will date you? Those specs, that heavy body, typical romantic expectations. You have only got me!”
It took no time for Nyna to burst into tears. And Kabir, like always, took his phone out and started playing games. Nyna got up and rushed to the washroom before someone else could notice her crying. She looked at herself in the mirror, “Kabir is right. No one will ever date me!”
And she heard a knock at the door. “Hey, Please stop crying, will you?”
“Viraj? What are you doing here?” Nyna asked in a soft voice.
“Was following you, I guess. Listen, whatever Kabir said, do not take it to heart. I am here for you.”
Viraj is Nyna’s childhood friend. Viraj has been Nyna’s comfort and confidante, her buddy in all thicks and thins.
“While kept seeking love, it found me at the most unexpected time!” Nyna wiped her tears off, went outside, and hugged Viraj.
“I am sorry I always took you for granted. I am never going to let you go!” said Nyna.
Viraj smiled and said, “Even if you ask me to, I won’t go! Because I love you so much!”
